Sydney Sweeney fans are angry with the Hollywood producer.
The most famous American actress, Sydney Sweeney, has been lambasted by Hollywood producers, making Sydney fans angry.
The producer of 34 Hollywood movies, including Father of the Bride and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, “Carol Baum,” has criticised her abilities and beauty. Baum said this to moderate and New York Times film critic Janet Maslin while she was speaking at a panel about her film Dead Ringers.
According to the Daily Mail, Baum started with “There’s an actress who everybody loves now—Sydney Sweeney,” and after this, she discussed Sweeny’s latest movie. (Anyone But You)
She said after her own decision to watch Anyone But You, “I don’t understand Sydney Sweeney… I wanted to know who Sydney Sweeney is and why everyone is talking about her.” I am sorry to the people who love this movie, but this is an unwatchable movie that I watched unfortunately—this romantic comedy where they hate each other.”
“I said to my class at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Art that if somebody could explain this girl—she’s not pretty, she can’t act—then why is she very attractive? Nobody had an answer.”
Baum said, “Nobody had an answer, but then a question was asked: If you got the movie where she was in it, then you would do it?” I said, “That’s a really good question, and that’s very hard to answer because everyone wants to get the movie made, and nobody wants to walk away from a green light.
The actress’s fans were not impressed by Baum’s comments. Rosamojo were tweeting, “How sad is it that the veteran female film producer Carol Baum criticises Sydney Sweeney for being pretty! Internal misogyny hides in the least likely places. We don’t owe them pretty; it’s time to give them ugly dammit.”
