MPA’s Giving R Rating To ‘Joker 2’ For ‘Strong Violence’ and ‘Brief Nudity’
Motion Picture Association has given R rating to the Joker Fdie a Deux which was revealed on Wednesday.
According to the MPA daily news ratings bulletin, the characters of a musical sequel of the 2019 movie Joker, ‘Joaquin Phoenix, and Lady Gaga’ have been rated R for ” strong violence, language throughout, sexuality and brief full nudity.
This is different from the original Joker Which was rated R for ” strong Blood Violence, disturbing behavior, language, and brief sexual image.”
“Joker: Folie a Deux” movie is directed by Todd Phillips, the film stars Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, and Brendan Gleeson, Phoenix repeated his role as the title character.
The plot details of the movie are not revealed yet but the variety of exclusives revealed that the film will be mostly a Jukebox musical, with at least 15 well-known songs will repeat. One of them is said to be “That’s Entertainment” from the 1953 musical “The Band Wagon,” made famous by Judy Garland. One or two songs may be found on the soundtrack.
Joker Move has earned up to 1 billion worldwide and won the Oscars of 2020 with 11 nominations. Phoenix won the best actor Oscar for the character of Arthur Fleck who was later known as the Joker.
Gaga has made a successful transition into Hollywood from the films “A Star Born” and “House Of Gucci.” In the 2019 Oscar, she was nominated for best actress for his performance in “A Star Born” movie and the track “Shallow” from the film took the Best Original Song prize.
“Joker: Folie a Deux” was released on 4 October in the Theaters from Warner Bros pictures.
